The Mission of Local Government Administrators of the Northwest Territories (LGANT) is to promote excellence and professionalism in the field of local government administration in the Northwest Territories through education and career development programs and to create awareness of the Local Government Administrator’s role in the community. The LGANT Recognition of a Local Government Administrator in the NWT recognizes a member of LGANT who currently provides an exceptional level of professionalism, leadership and innovation in their job, community service at a tireless level, and exemplifies the ethics and responsibility that a community desires to consider them a positive role model.
